Djokovic continues to lead ATP rankings

      Madrid : Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic held on to his No.1 place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) men’s singles rankings released on Monday after winning the Shanghai Masters, extending his current winning record to 17 consecutive matches.

Road accidents kill 1.25 mn people each year: WHO

     Geneva : Some 1.25 million people are killed each year in road accidents, according to a new report released by the World Health Organisation (WHO) on Monday.

11 killed, 23 injured in Pakistan blast

     Islamabad : At least 11 people were killed and 23 injured on Monday in an explosion in a packed passenger bus in Quetta city of Pakistan’s Balochistan province, media reports said.

Most of the wounded people were in a critical condition, a police official said, reported Geo News.
