Wicket getting low and slow made our chase difficult: Dhoni

    Rajkot : India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Sunday blamed the slow and low wicket in the second innings for their 18-run loss in their third One-Day International (ODI) against South Africa at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium here on Sunday.

“I thought 270 was a par score, the wicket kept getting lower and slower and the dew didn’t help us out. It became a bit two-paced and become difficult to play the big shot. Yoga can help drug addicts, shows a study

     New Delhi : Yoga can help addicts reduce dependency on drugs and improve the overall quality of their life, according to a new government study.

The study was authorised by the Ministry of AYUSH was concluded this year at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

Golfers Lahiri, Chiragh tied second at Macao Open

     Macao : Indian golfers Anirban Lahiri and Chiragh Kumar shot four-under 67 and 66 respectively to take the joint second spot after the second round of the $1 million Venetian Macao Open here on Friday.

Apple to set up research centre in Indonesia

          Jakarta : US-based technology firm, Apple Inc., plans to establish a research and development (R&D) centre in Indonesia, a minister said here on Friday.

White House launches anti-bullying campaign in Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu

    Washington : The White House has teamed up with a Sikh and an Asia Pacific community group to launch a public awareness campaign to address bullying in six languages including Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.

Abbas orders probe into Jewish shrine arson

     Nablus : Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas ordered an immediate investigation on Friday after Palestinians torched a holy site revered by Jews in Nablus, north of the West Bank.
