Sreesanth says he has full faith in court


   New Delhi/Kochi : After a court in New Delhi on Monday deferred to July 25 the framing of charges in the 2013 Indian Premier League spot-fixing case involving him, former cricket speedster S. Sreesanth said he has fully faith in the judiciary.

List Of Cricketers Banned For Match Fixing

 
   In cricket, match fixing occurs as a match is played to a completely or partially pre-determined result, violating the rules of the game and often the law. In particular, players have been approached by bookmakers and bribed to, throw matches, aspects of matches such as the toss or provide other essential information.
Fixing has happened in both international—includes Test and One Day Internationals—as well as domestic cricket.
The ban is issued by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the sport’s governing body or their respective cricket boards to which the player belongs.

BSE hopes to make IFSC exchange operational soon

 
       Asia’s first ever bourse, the Bombay Stock Exchange, which has entered the recently launched International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) in Ahmedabad, is hoping to start operations within 9-12 months, an official said.

CIC to have a new complex: Jitendra Singh

 
   The Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of India will soon have a new office complex here and all offices of central information commission will be housed under a single roof, Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh said on Tuesday.

  Narendra Modi-led government proposed income tax benefits for people making payments through credit cards, debits cards or via any other mode of online transaction. Germany, China enter quarters in women’s World Cup

 
  Edmonton (Canada) : Germany overpowered Sweden 4-1 and China ousted Cameroon 1-0 to enter the quarter-finals of the women’s football World Cup.
