NEW DELHI: Several issues like, the suicide by farmers, one rank-one pension (OROP), removal of toll tax all over the country, attacks on social media and immediate publication of the caste census were strongly discussed in the Lok Sabha today.
BJP member Nana Patole appealed to the government to give industry status to agriculture and accept the recommendations of the M S Swaminathan Committee to offer a fair deal to the farmer.
