On Wednesday, the Gujarat Government appointed Jagruti Pandya as the Chairperson for Gujarat State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
Jagruti Pandya is the widow of former Gujarat Home Minister Haren Pandya. She had contested against BJP from Gujarat Parivartan Party (GPP) floated by former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel.
